Andrew “Chipstir” Charles – Virgin Tourist
The Rugby League specialist on the Cricket Sixes Tour, Andrew loves sport, enjoys Asia a lot and has a very good hidden past is his home state of NSW, in Australia. Also up for a joke and a good time, he will truly enjoy being in Chiang Mai.
-
Brian McKay – Virgin Tourist
Our last new Broome Tourist and I am sure not least. I am told by Sister that Brian is very keen to get out on the field to strut his stuff. Will I am sure he will follow in the footsteps of some of the previous Postels Virgins over the years from Broome.
-
Cyrus “Vyrus” Maybud – Maybe 12? Tours
Vyrus has been the Swiss Connection for the Postels for a number of years now and in recent years has also acted as the Bangkok Connection. Thanks for doing the shirts this year, he has again exceeded expectations. What a keeper last year in the Cup!
-
Jeremy Smith – Virgin Tourist
Another of the “Cat Family” has become another country addition after spending the past 3 years in country South Australia at Roxby Downs. Has had to practice his cricket skills in the lead-up for the tour, however like his Uncle Cat, needs no drinking practice.
-
John “Crabbox” Knight – Virgin Tourist
Well what more can be said about this in-famous CBB Member who has been trying to make it to Chiang Mai for a number of years now. A true Postels stalwald from Perth, he was a very handy cricketer 10 years ago. Let us hope he is on his game this week?
-
Mark “Doctor” Thorgersen – 16th Tour
I believe this is the Doctors 16th tour and only 2nd most senior to Cat (no one is that old). Doc is a true solid supporter and leader in the Postels and loves coming to Chiang Mai each year and strutting his stuff, whatever that may be.
-
Mark Retallack – Virgin Tourist A
huge welcome to Mark, first chance to meet him since baby Marcus was born. Also from Broome and finally with us seeing the young fellow is now old enough. Has some good teachers for the tour through Doc and Sister.
-
Michael “Cat” Maher – 18th Tour
Proud to have been able to support the tournament for so long and very happy to be back again for the friendship that is always maintained and developed in Chiang Mai.
-
Neil Eggar – Maybe 6? Tours
Neil has toured with the Postels a number of times now and always adds some Welsh flavour to the tour. From the same town the Australian Prime Minister is from (not for long many say??), he is the perfect man for the Postels again this year.
-
Philip “Henry” Lawson – Virgin Tourist
Another one of our Broome tourists who is very welcome to join us for the first time in Chiang Mai. With a nickname like Henry, he no doubt will pick up some sweet poetry while with the Postels this year in Chiang Mai.
-
Ross “Tuk Tuk” Broun – 2nd Tour
A return from Tuk Tuk this year after some impressive form last year (was that on or off the field??). Enjoys his cricket and has done so touring wise even more since moving to Singapore and having loads of more free time.
-
Terry Moore – 3rd Tour
Terry makes a happy return to Chiang Mai again this year. A Queenslander who has fallen into the Postels Chiang Mai scene with ease. A very nice fellow who really enjoys his cricket and the parties while with us. Injury free this year, he will have a ball.
-
Tom “Rooster” Ryan – Virgin Tourist
Rooster hails from Mt Isa (well Queensland anyhow) with Terry and Terry and no doubt will have some “bush ballads” to share with us all. Sounds quite a character and no doubt will totally fit in with a group with a country flavour this year.
