Dilettante n. Lover of the fine arts; amateur; one who toys with subject or studies it without seriousness.
Darwin Dilettantes are the touring arm of the famous Darwin Cricket Club, from the capital city of the Northern Territory. Darwin has been touring for many years all over the world and this will be the 29th year that Darwin has played in the Chiang Mai Sixes. We welcome players from all over the globe to our ranks each year.

18, Gary Hancock
One of our few Under 50's, expected to carry a big load in the field on his wonky knees and back. First toured with the Dilettantes at the ripe old age of 20 back in 1997, has plenty of experience to bring to various hotspots in the Kingdom.
4. Alan Spring
The Wile E Coyote of left arm spinning wicket keepers, back in Chiang Mai leading a contingent of ardent Victorian Western District supporters/drinkers. Tour number 11, made life membership of the Dilettantes last year.
5. Robin Ryder
Coming back to Chiang Mai to see if the grass at the Gymkhana Club has recovered from his vomitus horribilus in 2018, when he made one of the finest Dilettante debuts of all time.
7. Russell Hunter
If you see Rusty approaching with bottles of clear fluid and coffee, head for the hills!
