• 11. Garry 'The Hulk' Fischer

  LH Batter/Bowler, Wicketkeeper

  Gazza has a list of nicknames from his entrance to Chiang Mai last year..Patch, Doctor are a few that comes to mind but the Photo of him wins the tour nickname of the Hulk.. Somewhere over near the Toilets there’s a Rock with his name on It- hopefully.. hopefully he doesn’t get reacquainted with it this year..

  Gazza lives in Berry Springs, NT and this will be his 2nd tour in Chiang Mai.

  

• 2. Oscar 'the grouch' Ball

  RH Batter/bowler, Wicketkeeper

  TOUR VIRGIN

  Little is know about Ballzy. Played a few years in Darwin and Alice Springs with a lot of success, now setting his sights a little higher starting his international career with the Bushies. Travelling with his girlfriend will see him getting plenty of fines, and might see him in the doghouse as well...can't win. Welcome to the Bushies.

  Ballzy resides in Alice Springs and this is his first sixes tour.

  

• 25. Mitch 'Mitchy Dub' Wehrmann

  RH Batter/Bowler

  TOUR VIRGIN

  Recruited for his youth and enthusiasm, Mitch will be called upon for his big hitting and as one of the youngest in the team, to cover the field and look after the older players. Being a single young fella he will enjoy the nightlife and ways of Chiang Mai, I'm sure a few veterans will help him out there.

  Mitch is from Jamestown, SA and is his first tour to Chiang Mai

  

• 26. Mark 'One more' Schmidt

  RH Batter/Bowler

  Schmidty is suited to playing Chiang Mai Cricket..& he looks forward to coming every year. He is the Tour Captain of the team and plays these days in the Spirit of the Game..We have more players this year, so he’ll be making sure everyone gets a game or two…

  His tour nickname is One More- problem is he calls it after every beer…One More..One More.

  Schmidty lives in Darwin River, NT and this will be his 6th tour with the Bushies.

  

• 35. Nu

  RH Batter/Bowler

  We welcome young Nu to the Bushies team. The Bushies are proud to sponsor Nu in his Schooling and Cricket development, and we look forward to watch him play this year and many years to come.

  Nu is from Lamphun and this is his first sixes tournament with the Bushies.

  

• 5. Josh 'Wormy' Wehrmann

  RH Batter/Bowler

  TOUR VIRGIN

  Josh has 2 passions in life, keeping Bee's and Cricket. Some have said his batting looks similar to swatting away killer bees, but his bowling is smooth and quick. Recruited from Bundaleer CC, Wormy has brought the average age of the team down considerably and look forward to big things from him, just hope he can keep up with the fine sessions and nightlife of the Bushies.

  Wormy comes from Jamestown,SA and is his first tour with the Bushies.

  

• 55. Kelvin 'Rinks' Lampton

  RH Batter/Bowler

  TOUR VIRGIN

  Well past his best on the field, but will keep the team morale & humour on the sideline.. If he gets the opportunity to hit a ball like he does in Golf, we should see some big hits..Rinks doesn’t like running, so you won’t see no two’s or three’s between the wickets…. YES..we can see a lot of Fines here whether on the field or off..

  Rinks resides in Ayr, Nth QLD and this is his first tour with the Bushies.

  

• 65. Bruce 'Bowz' Bowater

  RH Batter/Bowler/Wicketkeeper

  TOUR VIRGIN

  In his day he could send them down with his Hit or Get Hit bowling..an all-rounder player that can hold his own with the bat as well. Been a few years since he’s Don the Whites but he’s hoping he enjoys this short game. 6’s Cricket is suited for guys like Bowz.. Hope this kickstarts his cricket ventures..

  Bowz comes from Townsville, Nth QLD and this is his first tour with the Bushies.

  

• 69. Daniel 'Danielson' Rosas

  RH Batter/Bowler, Wicketkeeper

  As a tour virgin last year he will be looking forward to showing the new 2025 Tour Virgins the ropes..Danielson is our “Mr Reliable” who we can count on for anything..Just as well- we need someone with a level head to keep an eye over this crew. You will often find Danielson drifting up and down Loi Kroh road, breaking hearts and making friends.

  Danielson lives in Katherine, NT and this will be his 2nd tour with the Bushies.

  

• 7. Chai Noi

  RH Batter/Bowler

  Chai had a very good Sixes tournament last year, with bat and ball and we look forward to watch him go from strength to strength this year as a important member of the Bushies. As alot of us get older, it's quite reassuring to see these youngsters hold there own and will play more of a leading role in years to come.

  Chai lives in Chiang Mai and this will be his 3rd year with the Bushies

  

• 9. Ton

  RH Batter/Bowler

  A very good bowler and batter, Ton is one of the most experienced Sixes campaigners for the Bushies and we look forward to another great year from him. We also look forward to having a beer with him again and hope he shares some good bars and nightclubs with some of our younger members.

  Ton lives in Chiang Mia and this will be his 4th year playing for the Bushies.

• 19. Terry 'A Game' French

  Drinks Captain, Head supporter.

  Every team needs an “A Gamer” and Frenchman is that team Player..Hoping to sit on the sideline this year, but will have his Whites in his bag at the ground, ready if called on. Has the title of Drinks Captain/Treasurer this year , so I reckon Bloody Mary’s are on the cards again this year with a new potion lined up for the teams fine sessions. Frenchman will be called on to show the Tour Virgins just how it should be done- ps: I’m glad I’m not a Tour Virgin.

  Frenchie resides in Kununurra WA and this will be his 5th tour with the Bushies.

  

• 8. Marcus 'Joomby' Rosas

  Tour Manager, Fines Master, Umpire,

  An original Bushie but has jumped the fence to don the long Black strides..Been known as a bit of a trigger finger umpire, so don’t get hit on the pads. Joomby has been busy recruiting for this year, but only finding older players so he feels a little younger at the Zoom bar. Happy to be back to catch up with Old Friends and as usual Make New Friends over a Beer.

  Joomby resides in Katherine NT and this will be his 8th Bushie tour.
