“Meeting new Friends and Catching up with Old Friends over a Game of Cricket” - Our Team Motto

This year, 2023.. it is a case of - Out with OLD and in with the NEW, with a few new Tour Virgins accompanying us.

We look forward to the games to be played but better still look forward to the Fines sessions we will have amongst ourselves and opposition teams..Definitely a few Ales there to be had.

We hope you enjoy our company as much as we will enjoy yours.

Happy Chiang Mai Cricket 2023 Up the Bushies..

NT Bushrangers Players

  • Brent (Big Mac) Mackie

Brent, is one of our Tour VIRGINS this year, so his first Role- is the first Round of Drinks...Oh how we Love Tour Virgins and we have 3 this year..Big Mac comes with us this year HIGHLY recommended and his recent form adds extra pressure on him to perform. A tall freakish Left Armer who has sent down beamers, but also we be hoping he can hit the San Miguel Logo to earn us bonus runs. Been known to do all-nighters, if the company wants to sit up with him, will Chiang Mai take him back to his Glory Days of drinking. A huge Welcome for Big Mac to join us this year after falling short on the last tour and I hope Chiang Mai Cricket 6's is everything he hopes it to be.

    Welcome to the Bushies Mate..

  • Mark (One More) Schmidt

Schmidty is back for his 3rd Tour and takes the Role of Team Captain again, after being handed the job on the last tour of 2019. Nicknamed (ONE MORE), because he just doesn't know when to stop because its One More, after One More, after One More.. A great Tour Mate who embraces the team whether your on a LOW or a HIGH....Always has a joke on the side and knows how to get the best out a player...Schmidty starts this year off landing in Chiang Mai with a Fine...He's been TRAINING....Now who does that!!!

  • Terry (Zimmer Frame) French

Frenchy is the Elder Statesmen of the Team this year- so those close to him have asked me to organize a Zimmer Frame for him as he may need one by the end of the tournament. Now here's a Witty Character- always the Laugh of the Party and every touring team needs a Frenchy to get through the carnival. Can make a MEAN - Bloody Mary and a few of these will be on the cards after a Heavy night before....He's been known by a number of names on tour, namely "A Game"..."A Grade" ..Now the rest of his team mates has to guess what game he's bringing today- A Game / B Game/C Game...and the list goes on...for he has 26 letter to choose from...Frenchy may be required to take on the Glove work this year to look after the old mate..BUT..than again are we setting him up for the Fines session...

  • Warren (Wazza) Green

Wazza returns to Chiang Mai for his 2nd tour. Hails from Borroloola in the Top End of Northern Territory- Australia and has been know n to wrestle crocodiles and Brumbies in his travels. Being his 2nd tour Wazza will be looked at to show the Tour Virgins How its done...How the cricket is played and How the drinking is done...Wazza is well known by our Sponsor in Chiang Mai- The Zoom Bar- and he has his own Chair there, set up by the staffing lot, who all love him..A friendly chap Wazza is and Im sure 2nd time around he knows the run of the Place.

    here's to Wazza...making Borroloola proud.

  • Marcus (Joomby) ROSAS

Tour Manager Joom is Back for another stint at the 2023 Chiang Mai 6's...BUT, may not be back in the place of a Player but this time around....A TRIGGER Happy UMPIRE...Hoping to have a opportunity to swing the Blade, but, understanding this may not happen according to the Powers that be. off the field he has been known to be an accident Prone....so definately no Scooter riding for him. Taking on the added Role this year as Fines Manager, so will be watching from the dug-out with a keen eye...Some might say-"Now that's a Fine" Back for his 3rd trip to Chiang Mai (2018 - ) and is hoping to catch up with old mates and indeed make new ones.
