The SBCC is the cricketing arm of Castor Repletis Athletic Pursuits, a global, multi-disciplinary sporting and social club with players and supporters drawn from many walks of life and corners of the globe.
The 2023 Bowl final is now but a distant memory and normal service was resumed in 2024 with an unbackable record of played six, lost six. The Ashes were surrendered to the Darwin Dilettantes (although we do still have the urn…) and bragging rights conceded once again to the Armadillos. The Leadership Group have not been idle, however, and there are high hopes for a turnaround in fortunes following the injection of youth into the squad with the welcome additions of both Joe & Matt. Just such a shame that neither of them have played cricket before…..
We are very grateful to our corporate sponsors, PRS Fire Risk Consultants and Mister Squirrel, for their generous support of our shiny new shirts and their unwavering commitment to the Beaver cause. If you are in need of a Fire Risk assessment, or some nuts, do drop by our tent during the week
