In 2015, Sapa will be making our 10th appearance at Chaing Mai Cricket Sixes.

That's a lot of beers drunk and a lot of friends made.

Not many games won though.

Sa Pa Players

  • Lain Davison

Sapa's watermelon in a Watermelon Slushie - 'cause without him it would just be a little too sensible.

Cricket's most considerate room-mate will be looking to take his first wicket in 10 years.

If anyone found his phone last year, please drop it off at our tent.

Looking to make vice-captain this year.

  • Matty Finch

This tour virgin may be mistaken for Tubby Taylor when you couple his build with the fact that he is a 'fast talker'.

Unproven on the field, this long time pub manager is very much proven on the piss - challenge him on the former but not the latter.

  • Neil Morton

Sapa's vodka in a Watermelon Slushie - 'cause without him it just wouldn't be a Cocktail.

    Always decisive.....always!

Though sometimes fragile this man gives his all when possible, especially when belting out a Karaoke number.

Favourite animal - Albino Axolotls (must be due to similarities).

  • Nick Martin

Nick returns for another crack at the Sixes.

Now travelling with the appropriate attack alarms, he'll be looking to stay safe when out all "alone" after dark.

He continues to lurk around Asia and currently resides in Hong Kong where he is known locally as Nick The Cricket.

The closest thing we have to a pop idol, "Ricky" will no doubt prove a useful addition to Sapa's Karaoke Squad.

  • Steve Drakeford

Steve : NSW, Australia. Born: Circa 1970s.

Stib : Sapa, Vietnam. Debut: 10 year legend.

A man of many Chiang Mai tours and many less victories at the Gymkana Club, Stib returns for another stab at Thai glory.

With a cabinet full of future glory, Stib carries the weight of Sapa into 2015!

  • Vikas Arora

Our man on the ground in Chaing Mai.

Vik lists elephant polo and vodka distillery amongst his many skills.

Don't expect an apology if he hits you in the nuts.

Sa Pa Supporters

  • Abbie and Tom Morton

Morto Jnr I & Morto Jnr II will be cheering on Daddy from Phuket. The ever optimistic Abbie will be expecting Daddy to return with a shiny new medal. Let's hope that this is another year when everyone gets one. Tom, on the other hand, will be too busy wondering what the big yellow thing in the sky is.

  • Caroline Morton

Having decided to make the trip to Thailand for Sapa's 10th anniversary, Cazza has found what she considers to be her perfect vantage point for the Sixes - Phuket (which is where the squad will spend the following week). A member of Sapa's maiden tour party (the original Sapa-orters), she's been a Sixes Widow for the last 8 years (almost literally on a couple of occasions). Currently battling a Prosecco addiction, she'll be scouring the island for a supplier in readiness for the arrival of some old and dear friends.

  • Finley Davison

Sees himself as a Wicket Keeping Batsmen this little fella bleeds Sapa, and has been stinging for years to get out in the middle of Gymkana... and he's only 8! So so proud that his Dad represents Vietnam, the poor thing is gullible. A proud wearer of the Watermelon, he'll be cheering loud and proud.

  • Kate Finch

Sapa's Queen of Philanthropy, and if saving the world were a sport, she'd be smashing 6's all over the park. Sapa's new weapon, the Barmy Army will be well represented in this golden haired "cô gái", and after England's dissappointing form of late, this "cô gái", should be well warmed up and ready to offer the exact support Sapa needs (heaven knows, no one needs it more - except for maybe the Beavers). Pint size in stature, but big in heart, Sapa is happy to welcome Katie from Hemmel Hempstead on her maiden tour.

  • Lani and Eliza Davison

Look out Chiang Mai Chasies these duo dazzle with the bat and ball, give them a few years though as they are only 6. They bearly put up with watching their big brother every Saturday....expect the same kind of enthusiasm at Gymkana.

  • Melissa Davison

Tour No.2 (part timer). Widely regarded as the mother of Sapa, for if it wasn't for her there wouldn't of been a second year let alone 10. Tour No.1 was a success for Sapa in more ways than one (though we didn't win a game that year), we did conceive our first offspring on tour......lets hope that doesn't happen again! Looking forward to meet Debo's Thai family ("I swear they don't exist!" - Davo). Mel is a more than welcome returnee and a long overdue one at that.

  • Sofia and Tom Finch

Will be wide eyed and full of excitement especially if their Daddy belts a six. Expect Sofia to perk up the twins boooooring day.
Whilst their dad may have only had pegs for action figures to play with growing up, Tom is the real deal - nothing but fully accessorised wind up actions for this pocket rocket.
