Red Lion Wombats are the third team who have played in every edition of the Chiang Mai Sixes and will be playing again in their distinctive Wombat uniforms. 2023 had seen the Wombats reach the final of the Spoon but they surpassed all expectations by winning the Plate in 2024 as they beat the Tokyo Dingbats in the final as they ended the Dingbats run of success by making 87 for 1 to win by five wickets thanks to David Goern who was named player of the finals for 32^. David Grech is back in 2025 along with Mitch Barrington
