the deaf and blind brethren are here to wave their white sticks and to make this fine competition run so very smoothly yet again. Be kind to us, put the occasional cold beer in our direction and we shall all be very happy. We are here to enjoy it too !!

Barry Drake
Barry has yet to decide whether he is Aussie, Welsh or English !! Not a good trait for an umpire to be so indecisive!! Barry has been a CM panel member for some years now, he leads our scouting parties around CM on his trusty motorbike.
-
Christophe Felton
Returns to CM after successfully completing another year in the Pas de Calais League as chief umpire, he was awarded the Legion d'honneur for services to French cricket and croissant baking in 2015. Will he have recovered from a day out with Hagar in darkest South West London on March 12th?
-
Gavin Shaw
This is the year Shawry gives his all to umpiring, his beloved Yarrambat team are not with us in 2016!! What will he find time to do ? I suspect Hagar will find a new partner in the search for CM's finest hostelries. Will Kim keep him on the straight and narrow ? Time will tell
-
Herbie Whitlock
the doyen of Lancastrian umpires, will be eligible for his CM residents permit in 2016. Back in his favourite haunt, the Galare, where I suspect the fridge is being serviced and the lamp posts are being hidden. Sometime in the week "George" is bound to break out into some impromptu ukulele playing!
-
Ian Locke
Our professional !! Allowed out of Perth by Cricket Australia to answer all the myriad of questions fired at him by the many players , such as "is the bar open"?
Second visit to the sixes, must have enjoyed last year.
-
Jim Ford
Darwin's finest returning to CM once more. Always a pleasure to relax and talk through the days events with Jim, no doubt he'll sipping on a JB and Coke . Finds the mild CM climate very relaxing after the heat of a Territories summer!!
-
Jim Middleton
Chief Enforcer and hit man for the Umpires Team. Not sure if Jim is bringing clan Middleton this year, look out if he does. Hope the boundary bar has sufficient supplies of Gin and Tonic in stock
-
Paul "Hagar"Jones
Chief Umpire, Tournament Referee, Lord High Executioner to the Wombats !! Looking forward to meeting fellow umpire Christophe Felton and Beaver supreme Nigel Gurney on March 12th at the Cabbage Patch where some amber liquid will be imbibed, much rubbish talked and hopefully a very good day had by me at their expense, Da iawn.
Looking forward to my umpteenth CM sixes and renewing old friendships and making new ones
-
Rex " Sly Dog" Evans
Sly Dog is a long time veteran of CM , being a former Perth Postel before turning to the dark side , the force is strong in this one!
Still not too sure what Rex gets up to in the dark hours, best not think too hard about it !
-
Terry Williams
The Aussie with the Welsh name, think he took the name just to be Hagar's mate.
Mt Isa resident, another who finds CM a bit on the cool side. A fine decision maker out in the middle and when looking after Hagar when he is thirsty. Busy job that one.
