In 2016 San Miguel Thais have moved down to the gentlemens section, since their 2 senior players in Jun and Bunchuai are missing for most of the tournament. They both have interviews for National Service, so this might be the last time we see them at the Sixes for two years With 10 players to select, managers Martin Papworth and Eddie Joyner have opted for a team comprised of CMSCA and Lamphun players, mixing experience with some new talent. The team will be aiming to win the bowl and bring home to Chiang Mai some more silverware after becoming Plate champions in 2014.
