Clifton Hill Tom Cats

The World Famous Clifton Hill Tom Cats have been pimped!

What was suppose to be the team that let all the older players have an excuse to travel to Chiang Mai and "play cricket" has now been transformed into a younger, fitter and more sober team.

Comprising of left overs from the CH Stray Cats, The Tom Cats now have the capacity to beat previous years winning record of 1 game per tournament. But with the old CHCC players still coming along for the ride, there will be a fair bit of sledging if they don't.

Clifton Hill Tom Cats Players

  • Douglas "Monty" Stuart

A player of immense talent will find the CM environment to his liking. Monty has been known to prefer playing away than at home enabling the possibilities for a speedier exit.

A CM virgin, Monty will find the going rough early on, but once he picks up the pace of environs you find find him going to town; most likely by Tuk Tuk but I suggest it could be to a bowler or two as well.

  • Jacob "Jake" Babu

A Kiwi who has crossed the seas for his second stint at the CM lifestyle. A man of dashing good looks, a cool persona and a movie star smile, Jake is incredibly disappointing when it comes to his score rate. However when on the field he is sensational and will be one to watch in this pimped out Tom Cats team.

  • Jay "JP" Pee

A man of mystery, no one knows who he is, where he is from or even what his bloody name is. His reputation does not proceed him and we have got nothing on him.

However in the nature of teams that are not performing well, The Tom Cats hope he bowls at 140 Kph, smashes a long ball and is so quick he can look after the leg side in the field all by himself.

Welcome to the Tom Cats JP!

  • Jesse "Nailz" Parlanne

Returning to CM for his 2nd tour, Nailz is coming off an impressive final series back home where he took 36.3636363% of the total wickets during the series.....just ask him, he will happily talk you through them :)

A more than useful bowler who thinks of himself as a better than average all rounder, Nailz will be out to prove a point to all his doubters, as well as other people outside the CHCC touring party as well.

  • Lachie "Hammer" Elmore

    Its Hammer Time!

Back for his 2nd tour, Hammer is returning simply to go to Zoe on Yellow! A fine cricketer who has yet to field a ball below his knees, he has a few items he wishes to address on this tour. 1. Field a ball below his knees 2. Comprehend the meaning of "Mate, it's a bloke" 3. And not combine the two issues listed above

  • Rory "Rozza" Morgan

A fine athlete whose cricket ability is only outdone by his witting banter behind the stumps. Coming off a season back home which saw him average 15 beers per hour, this newly turned 18 year old certainly took to the clubs bar with natural talent.

A CM virgin, Rozza is stepping in for his father (Mad Dog) who has dominated the local bars over the past 5 years. Mad Dog has also been heavily penalised for carrying his bat through many a CM innings, this is something we will not have to worry about with Rozza!

  • Sammy "Stinger" Barrett

"Sammy Stinger, he loves a pinger and he wont sleep tonight!" (to the tune of The Lion Sleeps Tonight) is always heard when Stinger is in the crowd. A man that lights up the room, mainly due to his bright red crop of hair.

Stinger will be another handy in for the Tom Cats; a quiet assassin will make a lot of noise in his CM debut!
