Lamphun girls continue to improve and develop with a new squad of players. Lamphun coach, Cher, is still working hard to maintain the standard set by our previous players. After a very successful 2033/24 season winning the u19 national championship and runners up u in the u15 championship the team lost several key players. Our captain Ton Khao went back home to Chiang Rai to study and Tai into full time work, both players were in the national Thailand senior squad, so major loses for Lamphun, and along with other older girls depleted the team of experienced players. This year has seen 3 Lamphun girls move into the u19 Thailand team and 2 of them are now in the senior Thailand squad.
Our new captain is Gear, a very capable opener and she is backed up by u19 Thailand bowler Jai, Gift our young fast bowler, with all-rounders Sky, Mon, Farsai.
Unfortunately for the girls, they will have to wait to play later in the tournament as the national u19 competition will run at the similar time as the 6s. but it also gives playing opportunities for other girls to start in the earlier matches.

Chacha
Its been a slow development for Cha Cha, but her bowling and batting starting to show big improvement over the last 3 months, I think she's ideal for 6s cricket
-
Fasai
Another player from our winning team of last year, all rounder, batter, keeper and bowler. Yet another player who will play in the Cricket Thailand competition in Bangkok
-
Fon
U19 Thailand International and a current member of the SEA games squad.
Deceptive bowler from a short run up as been in good form this season. Cricket Thailand competition needs her too, so hopefully we will see her next year.
-
Gear
Lamphun Red Caps captain "Gear" will get the opportunity to show off her batting skills this year, a very solid opening batter, probably better suited for 20 or 50 over matches.
-
Gift
Lamphun Red Caps opening bowler, tall and athletic, who can bat well too.
She played her part in last years win at the 6s but wont be here this year due to a Cricket Thailand tournament being played at the same time.
-
Ice
U19 Thailand International leg spinner, was in the squad for the world cup Asian qualifier but was injured in the warm up before the match started. She is a member of the SEA games squad and also playing in the Cricket Thailand competition in Bangkok.
-
Jai
U19 Thailand International slow bowler, who had good success at the world cup Asian qualifier but unfortunately not retained for the SEA games squad. She is also involved in the Cricket Thailand competition in Bangkok.
-
Kloymai
one of many new players this school term year, always at training and keen to learn.
-
Kwan
Kwan was our best girl player from the recent Sawasdee Cup competition.
A very keen year 7 student and is very new to cricket, but she is already showing big potential.
-
Mean
Left arm slow bowler, started playing late but very keen to catch up.
-
Namwan
Namwan has only been playing for a year but keen to practise. She is currently trying to develop her leg spin bowling. We won't see her on the field this year but I'm sure we will see her in the future.
-
Ploy
Ploy is a useful bowler in the making and left hand batter.
Hopefully she will be able to play next year.
-
Sky
Hard hitting all rounder, bowls, keeps and can hit the ball a long way but unfortunately you wont get to see her this year as Cricket Thailand are running a competition as the same time as the Sixes.
-
Tida
Tida played in the winning team last year, she is in her last year at school so probably her last appearance at the 6s.
-
Unening
Sponsored by Christine and the girls, she's a young girl with a lot of natural aggression, and likes to bowl as fast as possible !
Still in year 7 so she has lots of time to harness her skills.
-
Yugyig
A very new player for the team, keen to learn but a long way to go for her.
