Wolf Pack

The Wolf Pack are first time participants at the Chiangmai Sixes and stoked to be here! Having cut our teeth in Phuket since 2013, we are proud to have been offered the opportunity to participate at Chiangmai in 2015.

Hailing from all over Australia, our hearts are bigger than our captain and opening pair combined, we love the game, our mates and a good time. Looking forward to getting amongst the action!

Wolf Pack Players

  • Dale "Bear" Meyer

Our Yaarpie prodigy, now Perth local, this bloke throws himself out of planes for fun! Another Wolf Pack cub, whether its pitched up or short, he’s sure to leave bowlers baffeld, boggled, and potentially bruised. They breed ‘em big in South Africa, and Bear lives up to his name!

  • Darrin "Piston" Usher

Steely eyed, focused, picks his targets… and hates a quick single! New to the team and Thai tours, Perth via NSW, Piston has heard all the stories and keen to add his own!

  • Matt "Jenko" Jenkins

A smile that lights up the room, eyes that sparkle with mischief and a swing that leaves bowlers quaking in fear, Jenko is a dead-set legend! Hailing from the Sunshine State, don’t let the sunny disposition lull a false sense of security – this bloke has the eye of the tiger! Sedate him with Chivaaaas…

  • Scott "Cess" Maitland

Our ‘brother from another mother’ Cess keeps wicket, belts 6s and holds the bar up at 3am… until a hospital visit intervenes! Another Gong local, Cess is one of our BFGs, heart of gold, competitor til the end and leader of the team song… if you’re privileged enough to hear it!

  • Scott "Hooch" McIntosh

Mild-mannered, slogger of huuuge sixes and hands-down winner of 'awkward wedding speeches delivered by Mum', Hooch is a Pack newby, Perth boy born and bred and a welcome addition to the Den!

  • Stefan "Priest" Vucens

A boy from Bayswater (WA), 4-time veteran of the Chiangmai Sixes, first timer as a Wolf Pack player, the Priest is here to slog a few, show the boys the lay of the land and all Chiangmai has to offer.

  • Steve "Coxy" Hancox

Partial to a Toblerone, Coxy sends the balls down with purpose, bats with intent and gives his all… at the bar. A good lad from the Gong, Coxy loves his gym sessions, but needs to balance the effort on his upper body with a couple of rounds of leg presses.

  • Will "Badge" Badger

Leader of the Pack, lives in Perth via the Gong, 10 year Thai tour veteran, first timer at Chiangmai, everything about Badge is BIG! Big feet, big heart, big hits… Will lead the charge on and off the field! Just don’t let him get hold of the mic at karaoke!

Wolf Pack Supporters

  • Ainslie "Mrs Piston" Usher

Good book? Check. Drink in hand? Check. Chiangmai Sixes? Bring it on!

  • Nic "Mrs Badge" Walker

Betrothed beloved of the Captain, Mrs Badge loves her man almost as much as she loves cricket!

  • Raelene "Mrs Priest" Vucens

Saintly wife of the Priest, loved by all, all round legend!

  • Tim "Elmo" Bishop

Our number one fan… cutter of oranges… applauder of runs… drinker of drinks… Our Elmo is the man! Has toured to Phuket with the Pack, but old footy injuries linger and have relegated him to the marquee and cold San Miguel duties.
