Keith Lang is an enthusiastic Australian who learnt about the Chiang Mai Sixes a decade ago when he played club cricket in Cambridge alongside Chiang Mai cricketers Russell Ward and Richard Young. He and a couple of friends played for Blythswood in 2023 and they moved on to the Lord’s Taverners last year but he has entered two teams this year with a Players’ team and a Gentlemen’s team. Undaunted by injuries to his players he has offered to sponsor three promising Thai cricketers so he has two full squads.

Six Pistols 2 Players

  • Dane Grills

First trip to Chiang Mai. Will suit the 6s perfectly between 9am and 6pm. Will also enjoy the local night life from 6:01pm until approximately 5:59am. Was the first player to sign up with the Six Pistols after a brief chat with Scotty.

  • Jacob Hassall

First trip to Chiang Mai. May not realise that the 9am cricket games will suit the Six Pistol recruitment, recreation and tour guide officer’s itinerary.

  • Krit

Promising young left-arm fast bowler who is also a left-handed batsman and is part of the Lamphun squad.

  • Lao

New to hard ball cricket but he impressed in last year's Sawasdee Cup with his fast bowling and big hitting. Small in size but big in potential.

  • Luke Sales

First trip to Chiang Mai. May not realise that the 9am cricket games will suit the Six Pistol recruitment, recreation and tour guide officer’s itinerary.

  • Mathew Metcalf

First trip to Chiang Mai 6s. Right arm bowler, left hand bat. May have removed the word "spin" from the Six Pistols 2 captain's claim of being a spin bowler. Would rather use the title of "slow straight bowler" whose lack of spin is the surprise.
