Keith Lang is an enthusiastic Australian who learnt about the Chiang Mai Sixes a decade ago when he played club cricket in Cambridge alongside Chiang Mai cricketers Russell Ward and Richard Young. He and a couple of friends played for Blythswood in 2023 and they moved on to the Lord’s Taverners last year but he has entered two teams this year with a Players’ team and a Gentlemen’s team. Undaunted by injuries to his players he has offered to sponsor three promising Thai cricketers so he has two full squads.

Six Pistols 1 Players

  • Andy Emery

This will be Andy’s second 6s trip to Thailand. After playing in Hua Hin last year, Andy has not returned to Australia. Apparently he has found that Thia culture suits him very well. It will be good to catch up with him after 10 months to confirm this.

  • Brian Scott

Team recruitment office and recreation tour guide and adviser, who regularly forgets to tell new recruits that we are a cricket team. Players may be recruited by listening to Scotty’s post cricket stories referring to late night pool games and very friendly bar staff.

  • Keith Lang

Third time trip to Chiang Mai. Tour manager who regularly notices Six Pistols players wandering back into the Hotel during breakfast. Has learnt not to ask questions, not to talk loudly in the 9am Tut Tut to the cricket ground, and where to find the local pharmacies who sell strong, locally produced pain killers.

  • Michael Baxter

Right Hand bat, Left arm bowler, unless he’s batting left handed then he will bowl right arm. Six Pistols wicket keeper.

  • Nung

Promising youngster who plays for Lamphun. Recruited from the Gymkhana Cavaliers who he played for in 2023 and 2024 Sixes.

  • Taylor Scott

    First trip to Chiang Mai.
