Scorers

2016 marks the fifth year that computerized scoring has been used at the San Miguel Chiang Mai International Crcket Sixes as the tournament continues to set the highest standards to impress teams coming from around the world. Eric Little proudly produced the first version of the scoring program and this has been refined and expanded by Barrie Radburn so that he can produce his fixtures and tables from the scorers' data. Richard Cowles has provided a terrific new website that will contain results for all teams who have played in the Chiang Mai Sixes over the last ten years.

Richard Lockwood heads the scoring team and will be responsible for the computer scoring and updating the scores on the website, but he couldn't do the job without the assistance of the enormously calm and capable Puy Papworth and rising star of the match box, her daughter Pin. Taran Persuad brings businesslike principles to the whole procedure and we are also grateful for the assistance of Mack and Jane, newcomers to the scoring world who continue the long tradition of Thais developing a passion for cricket. Dominic Williams looks after the scoreboard as he instructs the young Thai cricketers who change team names and scores with military efficiency. We must also thank Martin Papworth who will make sure the whole tournament runs smoothly with the computer scoreboard donated by Peter Dawson still running like clockwork.
