Divine Felons

People say 50 is the new 30, let me assure those people, looking round our side it is definitely not! This is the Felons 12th appearance at the sixes. Looking forward to another memorable tournament, hopefully without the added drama of hospitalisation for any of our assembled crew! With a cricketing pedigree second to none, this cricketing band of misfits, hope that the opposition is not too young , too fit ,or too fast ,and will take account of the age of every last one of us. Special thanks to Charles Lord of Surridge Sports for his kit sponsorship.

Divine Felons Players

  • GARY "BIG ROBBO "ROBERTSON number 5

Making a welcomed return after snapping his Achilles tendon in last years first match. Definitely looking to last at least two games this year.Great asset to the Felons his laconic wit and deadpan delivery was missed after his premature return home last year. His attributes with both bat and ball were definitely missed towards the climax of the tournament.

  • GREG "THE HOG" SHEARER Number 2

After a successful debut " The Hog" is back for more! His lively medium pace proved a great asset , his batting! After starring in a short piece on Sky /Fox Sports about his local club, Gregs demands for his own changing facilities, and improved "rider' have so far fallen on deaf ears.

  • KEITH "KES" ROSCOE number 4

Sold his soul to rock and roll! Now totally proficient on rhythm guitar, having just completed "play in a year, the one chord songbook of punks greatest hits". Looking to the new old challenge of 6s,especially batting, probably better off trying the Two chord songbook!

  • MIKE "THE BARON"TERRINGTON number 6

Yes the Baron is back again full of enthusiasm vim and vigor, and that's only off the field. His energy and commitment to the cause ,really does belie his age ,proving that even Septuagenarians still have a great deal to offer!, still one of an exclusive band to have taken a hat trick at the 6s

  • ROSS "ORMO" ORMISTON Number 1

Captain of this merry band . Age does not wither this classy character , cooler than an Antarctic breeze, never flustered even when it's his round. A rock with the bat, a calculating death bowler. A more affable man you're not likely to meet!

  • STEPHEN "LITTLE ROBBO " ROBERTSON number8

    BEAST!!! Enough said!

  • WILLIAM "BONKING BILLY" JOHNSON Number 3

Well if Greg found fame on TV he has been trumped this year by our Bill! Star not only of the Sunday Times no less but followed up by a Channel 4 documentary. Can't say what it was about ,haven't seen it. No doubt Bill will be regaling all over the course of the sixes. Still in great form with both bat and ball ( so he tells us). Looking forward once more to gracing the sixes.
