Lamphun Lion Cubs are a replacement team in this year's Sixes after Yorkshire Puddings were forced to withdraw from the 2026 tournament as a result of the cancellation of their flights to Thailand as a side effect the Iran War. Most of this young team were members of the Lamphun side who recently won the national under-15 championship in Buriram so they will be keen to show off their skills in the Sixes. It is a great tribute to the coaching in Lamphun schools headed by Cher and for the Sawasdee Cup softball competition. The last three winners of the Grade 6 Sawasdee Cup player of the tournament are in this team.
