Down Under Divas Players

• Danika (7) Hicks

  This is Danika’s first year of cricket. We are sure that after all her training sessions with her coach she will be more than ready to take on the competition at the Sixes. Danika has never been overseas so is looking forward to the trip. Danika is very excited to explore all the sights of Chiang Mai and can’t wait to get to the Markets.

  

• Kerri (Kez 14) Hicks

  This is Kerri’s first year playing cricket. It is also her first overseas trip. Kerri will not only be in Chiang Mai to play but will also be a supporter to her Husband Adam (Dump) playing for the Son’s of Pitches team. We know that Kerri is looking forward to the nightlife and will take on the role of drinking for 2 as her Husband doesn’t drink. I am sure she will be in constant contact with home as she is leaving her Son home alone in charge of the Farm.

  

• Maddi (Ranga 27) Hicks

  Maddi is making her return to cricket after a few years off. This is Maddi’s first overseas trip so she is very excited to see all the sights but most importantly she can’t wait to hit the Markets. Maddi will get to enjoy not only playing but supporting her Dad (Dump) and Uncle (Wombat) in the mens competition. Maddi will be sure to eat as much Sticky Rice as humanly possible while in Chiang Mai.

  

• Nicky ( Mrs Wombat 19) Hicks

  This is Nicky’s first year playing cricket. She visited Chiang Mai last year to support her Fiancé Jason (Wombat) who is now her husband and decided she would have a go herself this year. Nicky is known as the Sons of Pitches loudest supporter which I am sure she will continue with this year when not playing herself. Nicky is the World Famous Publican and major sponsor of the Down Under Diva’s and Sons of Pitches which was very publicised by Nicky’s number 1 supporter Burnsey last year. She is very happy to be taking the family this year and is looking forward to catching up with everyone.

  

• Odette ( Nan Wombat 33 ) Hicks

  This is Odette’s first year of cricket after all the years of being a cricket Mum to her 3 boys. Odette will this year take on the Nan role not only for her family travelling with her to Chiang Mai but to all the Down Under Diva’s team and also the Sons of Pitches team. Odette will get to watch 2 of her boys compete in the Men’s competition. She is looking forward to spending as much time as she can in the pool and doing a spot of shopping at the markets. Her favourite dish which she will live on while in Chiang Mai will be the Chicken fried rice from 7 Eleven.

  

• Raylene (Razer 17) Roddom

  This is Razer’s first year playing cricket, after spending many years support her Husband the Famous Mr Chef! Although Razer may be the smallest on the team, don’t let that fool you! She is the biggest party girl!! Always up for a drink and a dance, we hope she doesn’t wear herself out of a night, she is quite known though to have a little nap while out partying just to recover enough to keep going. When not on the field, she will mostly be found at the massage tent with, Drink in hand.

  

Down Under Divas Supporters

• Elyssa (Brutie) Hicks

  This is Elyssa’s first year attending the Sixes, and also her first trip overseas. Sadly too young to play in the competition, she still has her bat ready if needed. She is the Assistant Coach helping her Dad keep everyone in line. Elyssa will get to watch all her Family play and will be an amazing supporter. Elyssa can’t wait to ride in a Tuk Tuk and will frequent McDonalds daily.

  

• Jason (Coach Womabt) Hicks

  Getting too old and falling apart to play, he needed the girls to start a team so he could take on the role of Coach. Jason has had a massive job to get these girls ready to play, after playing for so many years himself he knew the task was big! He has passed on so much knowledge and skills that will hopefully get the girls through. We are sure he will enjoy have 2 team functions to attend. This year not only will he enjoy playing he will also enjoy watching the girls play and getting to spend time with all his Family.

  

• Penne (First Aid officer) Erak

  The Sixes would not be the same without this Lady! Not only is she the Number 1 supporter of the Sons of Pitches, but she is also their First Aid Officer, Hydration Officer, Mother, Wife and team Doctor. So it’s quite obvious we were adopting her for The Down Under Divas! We are sure that she will look after us all and will enjoy adding our team events to her schedule.
