The Sixes might be over for a year, but planning for 2026 has already begun, and that includes finishing the restoration of the outfield at the Gymkhana Club Cricket Ground.

The next part of the two-year process will be to start laying new turf in the areas still bare. This will commence in May when the weather is more favourable, once the rainy season kicks in.

Of course, this will take time, hard work, and money. Anyone in Chiang Mai who wishes to play their part by offering voluntary labour will be made most welcome.
