Drifters were crowned as Cup champions of the 2026 Chiang Mai International Sixes at the end of a tremendous week of cricket, camaraderie, and fun at the Gymkhana Club after defeating Darjeeling CC in a repeat of the previous year's final. This time, the winning margin was 14 runs, with Luke Stokes and Abaid, who was named Player of the Tournament, starring.
The Shield went to Glenmore Park Silly Sloggers, moving up a grade from their previous year’s triumph to see off the returning Clifton Hill Tomcats, who chased down the first innings score of 70-2 without loss. Luke Phillips was judged to be Player of the Finals for his performance in the victory.
The second-grade winners in 2025, the TJCDF, found themselves down one division in 2026, where they lifted the Bowl, defeating Tokyo Dingbats with a comprehensive performance. A heavily bolstered Floggers & Robbers defended their score of 77-2 to them home against a locally assisted St Helier RFC side by 4 runs.
The Spoon turned out to be a contest between the Sons of Pitches, who entered two sides to celebrate their tenth anniversary at the tournament. It was the supposed second-string side that took the honours,
The Ladies' competition saw Central Spirit reclaim their title after finishing runners-up for several years to Lamphun Red Caps, who were the beaten finalists in front of a huge Finals Day crowd. Fi of Down Under Divas was the Ladies Player of the Tournament, while Hammo of the champions was given a Spirit of Cricket award by sponsors Boggy and Toll.
The tournament, which saw 32 men's and 4 ladies’ sides compete, was heralded as a great success, with money being raised throughout for the Thailand Junior Cricket Development Fund, to assist with costed projects to help the next generation enjoy the game.
