Central Spirit and Bushrangers take cricket to the orphanage

It is now less than four months to the 2020 Chiang Mai Sixes which will be held from 29th March to 4th April next year. Two of the most popular teams in the competition, Central Spirit and NT Bushrangers, have already confirmed that they will be taking in part in 2020 and are looking forward to revisiting the Asia Hope Doi Saket Orphanage after they had an enjoyed an fantastic day with the children during the 2019 Sixes. The kids were very excited as they played cricket and Aussie Rules football for the first time and Central Spirit and Bushrangers teams showed again that the Chiang Mai Sixes is about more than just playing cricket as involvement with the local community and giving Thai children the chance to play sport is just as important. We thank all Sixes teams for their support of junior cricket and other initiatives such as helping to provide the children at the orphanage with a memorable Christmas lunch in the coming days.

Central Spirit Women's Cricket Team I can't wait to do what we do. The orphanage was definitely the highlight of our trip to Chiang Mai. We loved the cricket games and the fabulous people we have met and spent time with, especially the women and girls that welcome us every year xxx we are so looking forward to seeing the kids again at the orphanage xxx
